Whilst our community choirs take a well-earned break over the summer, plans for the new academic year are already well underway. September will see familiar choirs return alongside exciting new opportunities, including our newest community partnership with Oakleaf, where we are delighted to be launching a new choir in Guildford under the leadership of ChoirBLAST trustee and choir leader, Caroline.

What a weekend! This year’s ChoirBLAST Festival welcomed more than 100 choirs across 14 unique stages throughout Godalming, creating a vibrant celebration of singing that filled the town with music, colour and community spirit.

A few thousand singers, a beautiful market town, music drifting from pubs and cafés, and a field full of people refusing to go home once the sun starts setting. What could possibly go wrong? To help you make the most of the weekend, here are five things worth knowing before you arrive.
