About Godalming

Godalming is a market town in South West Surrey on the River Wey nestled amongst many of Surrey’s Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, 5 miles south of Guildford and approximately 30 miles south of London and 30 miles north of Portsmouth. Godalming is a vibrant and picturesque town buzzing with independent shops and cafes.

By road

Godalming is easily accessible by road:
From the North, take Junction 10 of the M25 onto the A3 and follow signs to Godalming.
From the South, take the A3 from Portsmouth and follow signs to Godalming.

The nearest parking is at Crown Court car park, next to The Bury's Field. Accessible and bicycle parking is available.

By train

Godalming is situated 5.5 miles southwest of Guildford and has two railway stations (Godalming and Farncombe) on the South Western Railway service between London (Waterloo) and Portsmouth Harbour. London (Waterloo) is approximately 40 minutes away.

Directions to ChoirBLAST:

[10 minutes] As you exit the station, cross the road and turn left, following the path. A few meters down, turn left down the footpath signposted to the Parish Church and Phillips Memorial. Cross Westbrook Road and then turn left on Borough Road. The entrance to the Phillips Memorial area & Bandstand will be on your right.

Enjoy the Bandstand!

[5 minutes] To reach The Bury's Field, pass the Bandstand on your left and turn left, pass the Bowl's Club, then turn right and pass the playground on your right. Cross The Bury's road into Crown Court car park and diagonally cross the car park - the entrance to The Bury's Field is next to the Skatepark & The Wilfrid Noyce Centre. 

By air

Good links to both London Gatwick and London Heathrow Airports both are approximately 30 miles away
