Guildford Rock Choir
Rock Choir is the UK’s leading contemporary award-winning choir experience offering local weekly rehearsals, performances, and life-affirming events to more than 400 towns and communities across the UK. Rock Choir was created by singer and musician, Caroline Redman Lusher and remains a family-run organisation originating in Farnham, Surrey in 2005. The choirs have been run for the past 16 years by Thomas George and performed in a number high profile performances both locally and across the whole of the UK raising in excess of £300,000 for charity in that time.

Kudos Gospel Choir
After winning the BBC’s Songs of Praise Gospel Choir of the Year 2024, Kudos is looking forward to inspiring new audiences near and far. Kudos Gospel Choir is a vibrant and passionate musical collective that exudes the joy and power of gospel music. Formed in November 2019, just four months before the onset of global lockdowns, Kudos Gospel Choir has persevered and has had the privilege of uplifting people through some of their most challenging times.

Ready Singer One
Have you ever heard your favourite songs from Skyrim, Pokémon, Persona 5 etc... sung in glorious 6-part harmony? Ready Singer One, London's nerdiest choir, shall make your dreams come true. Embark in a performance of Video Game iconic songs, sung by a 40-person-strong group. Ready Singer One is the only choir in the UK to exclusively sing songs from video games and Film. Their energetic performances have delighted audiences in various places such as the Science Museum, Comic Con, and on BBC Radio. They can't wait to sing (and shout, at times, in Dragon Language) for you!

Wey Community Gospel Choir
We are a Community Gospel Choir who are passionate about connecting people through singing. We believe music has a great power to unite, to create as sense of community and to boost our wellbeing. We offer opportunities to grow as a singer, at the same ti as welcoming all abilities. The choir is a place to develop your individual skills, as well as somewhere to embrace the joy of singing in a group. Most of our repertoire is gospel music, although we do incorporate other styles that share an uplifting feel. There are no auditions and no need to be able to read music. We teach to all ages and abilities. We have performed in a variety of setting, which include public concerts, private functions, weddings, churches, prisons, residential homes and schools. We are fully inclusive and our members come from all backgrounds and religious persuasions (or none). As a community we have a great social life including trips and activities. We suspect several of our members join for our weekly after rehearsal trip to the pub alone!

We Are The Voice Children's Choir
We Are The Voice is a children’s environmental choir. Winning hearts and minds with haunting, rousing melodies and luscious, layered harmonies, the choir hopes to inspire positive environmental change one song at a time. All the choir’s material is original, and since its formation in 2019, the choir has performed from The Houses of Parliament to COP26 in Glasgow, Hampton Court Flower Shows, Music Festivals, brought their I AM THE EARTH show to theatres and the iconic Disneyland stage in Paris. They have also performed at environmental award ceremonies, themselves winning a coveted Green Apple Award.

The Big Choir
The Big Choir was formed in 2016, specifically to raise money for Cancer Research UK. To date we have donated £350,000 to the Francis Crick Institute in Kings Cross, for research into all cancers. We are a no audition, community choir and we have a lot of fun! We currently have two groups, one in Barnet, and another in St Albans, both 100 strong and all singing in beautiful harmony. We sing anything from Rock, to pop, gospel and country. Our members often come to us with no previous experience, but soon become hooked and love being part of our warm choir family. We love to perform and have had some lovely bookings over the years. The Big Choir is a place for anyone who just loves to sing. We have made so many wonderful memories over the years, and managed to keep everyone singing throughout the dark times of the Pandemic. We hope you’ll enjoy our offering at Choir Blast! We’re so excited to be joining everyone on the day.

West End Musical Choir
West End Musical Choir is London & Manchester's adult non-audition musical theatre Choir! We host weekly rehearsals learning & performing the classic and new hits from the West End & Broadway, conducted by the professional Musical Directors from the West End & Broadway. West End Musical Choir boasts performances at some of the UK and Europe's most iconic venues such as Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, The RHS Chelsea Flower Show, St. Paul's Cathedral, The Edinburgh Fringe Festival & Disneyland Paris!

The RAF Spitfires Choir
The RAF Spitfires Choir was established in 2009 and has a membership of Regular and Reserve personnel, Veterans and Civil Servants who work within the RAF. An amateur ensemble, choir members serve in a variety of roles across the RAF, coming together voluntarily to enjoy singing and to be the best possible cultural ambassadors for our Service. The Spitfires Choir has tackled a diverse range of performances, including collaborations with the BBC Singers and broadcasts on BBC radio and television for the anniversaries of the Battle of Britain and the Battle of the Somme. The choir recorded a single for the RAF Benevolent Fund “1914 – The Carol of Christmas” in 2014, choir also performed for two years on the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing show for their Remembrance Day shows. Proudly representing our Service, the choir has performed at numerous International and Six Nations Rugby matches. In 2018 the choir took part in the RAF 100 Gala Concert in the Royal Albert Hall. The choir attended its first overseas multi-national event singing at a two day ‘Nuits Des Choeurs’ in Brussels in 2022 alongside other international choirs including The Kingdom Choir. We regularly support fundraising events for the various military charities including the RAF Benevolent fund and Royal British Legion. Gospel Rising is a growing beacon of unity, love and peace. This powerful group bring joy wherever they sing! “Touching Lives, One Song at a Time,” reflects their commitment to creating unforgettable moments through music. Gospel Rising is a dynamic and impassioned group, sharing soul-stirring performances. They desire to make a noticeable impact of presenting Gospel Music throughout the world.

Tongue & Groove
Winners of the 2021 Community Choir Festival, Tongue & Groove are an amateur choir that teams a professional Musical Director from theatre with talented and dedicated amateur performers. We are all about engaging with the audience and putting on a good show. Born in 2017 from a love of performing, Tongue & Groove is a Southeast London vocal group that is all about engaging with the audience and putting on a good show. One of our singers describes Tuesday night rehearsals as being “Super-food for my mental health”. We are thrilled to have been invited to sing at ChoirBLAST!

Full Circle Vocal Group
Full Circle Vocal Group was set up in 2009 by Polly Murray because of her love of music. They started off at a small community cafe, tripled in size, and now call Farnham Maltings their home. Now in its 15th year, the choir, with some original members, has performed at many events in the town - Vic Cracknell's open mics, Birdworld and their famous friends and family concerts, raising money for charity along the way. Polly was nominated by two members of her choir and won the Services to Farnham Award for her outstanding contribution to Farnham through music. Community has always been at the heart of everything they do, and they'd love to welcome new members.

Harmony Community Choir
Harmony Community Choir was born out of the pandemic to bring people and communities back together. We aren’t run as a business but as a safe space for people to come, express themselves and be uplifted by the power of music and singing together. Our strap line is: ‘A pocketful of joy’ and we focus on the connection between each other, not perfection. During our two years together we have helped raise money for local community projects and had a whole lot of fun during the process.

Fab Choir
Glossop’s all female Pop Choir have been singing together since 2018 and enjoy regularly supporting local events and charities in local venues, such as The Crystal Ballroom, Partington Theatre, Norfolk Square, The Lowry Salford and Gorton Monastery. We also love a festival and have been part of The Hayfield Country Show, Buxton Fringe and in 2023 we took a show up to The Edinburgh Fringe which was spectacularly good fun. We’re always on the lookout for something different to do and very much looking forward to ChoirBLAST in 2025. We sing arrangements of our favourite songs re-imagined into a chorus of three-part harmony. From Stevie Wonder to Oasis, Adele to The Cure, there’ll be something in our familiar set to get your feet tapping. We also would love you to join in with us, so belt out the chorus or challenge yourself to a harmony line, whatever you feel like, it’s alright with us.

Shefford Community Choir
Established through a rousing community carol sing-along, the Shefford Community Choir (Central Bedfordshire) celebrates its first year of fostering joy and connection through song. Founded by local musicians, the choir provides a welcoming space for singers of all abilities. Here they can rediscover old favorites, refine their vocal skills, and build lasting friendships, all while experiencing the well-documented mental health benefits of singing. Their repertoire brings warmth to care homes, enlivens community events, and adds spirit to festive occasions. The choir has even hosted inclusive pub singalongs, demonstrating the unifying power of music. Celebrating their first year, the Shefford Community Choir embraces every performance opportunity, eager to share their passion for music and its positive impact on the community.

ATOM Youth Choir
ATOM Youth Choir is bringing their sparkle and sass to ChoirBLAST! This dynamic group of youngsters, led by the fabulous Phoebe Gaydon, is ready to light up the stage with their vibrant energy and passion for performance. Though they are a fairly new group, ATOM Youth Choir has confidence and skill, showcasing the incredible power of young voices coming together in harmony.

The Noteables
THE NOTEABLES are an award winning, pop chamber choir directed by Vikki Stone. Formed in 2012, The Noteables are a small group of like-minded singers who like to sing good music, whilst having serious levels of fun. They are all partial to gin in a tin. You might recognise them as the current BBC Oneness Choir Ident, which was played on the telly throughout lockdown! They are former winners of The Manchester Amateur Choral Competition and they were one of 30 choirs in BBC's prime time choir programme Pitch Battle!

Soul Song Choirs
Soul Song Choirs is a network of fun and funky community pop choirs, headquartered in Brisbane, Australia. With a number of physical choirs across Queensland merging seamlessly with our Viral Choir, we regularly have members at our hybrid rehearsals from more than 9 Australian cities as well as Singapore, the UK and USA. We are all-inclusive; bringing together singers and non-singers from all walks of life in our safe, joyful singing community. The fun we have and the memories we create whilst making the best music we can is what we’re all about! We wear our hearts on our sleeves and focus more on passionate, therapeutic storytelling than perfect choral technique. Our rehearsals and performances follow a simple formula: Sing-laugh-sing-cry-sing-repeat! We love to perform and are super excited to be bringing an international flavour to ChoirBLAST 2025!

Seer Green Singers
Seer Green Singers formed in 2013, and is based near Beaconsfield in Buckinghamshire. They are a community men’s choir that is a little different to the conventional male voice choir. They have performed in many local venues, sung at the South Bank, in Hull as part of the City of Culture 2017 celebrations, and in 2019 performed in the International Festival of Male Voice Choirs in Cornwall. Last autumn they traveled to Yorkshire to sing alongside the Leyburn Community Choir and Leyburn Brass Band. They sing a wide range of repertoire, and take pride in their enthusiastic and committed performances.

Guildford Jazz Choir
This choir brings the old and the new together, singing jazz classics to contemporary hits. A youthful group of people who know how to have fun while performing their hearts out. Led by Phoebe Gaydon and accompanied by Atalia Welch, these performers will get you dancing and singing along.


Music Kids
Music Kids is a fun-singing group for children from 5+ to teenagers, meeting at Godalming United Church Fridays from 6-6.45pm in term time. They sing a huge variety of songs from short verses to songs from the musicals performing at Care Homes, the Godalming Bandstand, Garden Parties, the Pepperpot and Godalming United Church services, conducted by our MD Dr. James Turner. They are always looking for new members!

Choir Leader Meet-Up Choir
In 2018, local choir leader Polly Murray set up Choir Leader Meet-Up as she recognised a need to get together with other community choir leaders to talk all-things-choir. The group grew quickly and they met leaders from further afield, but it was during the Pandemic that it really came into its own. They enjoyed regular support meetings on Zoom, making global friendships along the way. Since then, they continue to meet in-person at their new home, the Lightbox in Woking. They couldn't resist forming a choir of leaders and so the 'Choir Leader Meet-Up Choir' now exists purely for ChoirBLAST! Choir Leader Meet-Up Choir is sponsored by ChoirCommunity



North Herts Ladies Choir
North Herts Ladies Choir was founded by a group of music lovers who wanted to create a space for people to come together and share their passion for music. We started with a small community and have grown into a thriving ensemble of ladies who enjoy singing and socialising together. At North Herts Ladies Choir, we believe in the power of music to bring people together, inspire creativity, and promote positive change. We are committed to creating a safe and inclusive space for our community to connect and share their love of music whilst making money for local charities and good causes. We welcome ladies aged 18+ who love to sing! We don't hold auditions and members are never be asked to sing by yourself. Our current membership is from all over Hertfordshire, Central Bedfordshire and North London.

Off The Scale
Off The Scale choir began in Cape Town, South Africa, in 2022, born out of a desire to bring together women who just love to sing, and give them a platform to perform. After an incredible 2 years singing their hearts out and building lifelong friendships, founder and Musical Director Clare Webster moved to the UK and has poured her passion for all things choir into a new Off The Scale choir here in Guildford! From Aretha to Adele, and Elton to Ed Sheeran, OTS is at its happiest singing awesome arrangements of contemporary pop and jazz, all with their trademark energy and even the occasional dance move (think Glee for grown ups!) so they are guaranteed to have you up on your feet and singing along. They are also growing fast so if you love to sing and are looking to join a fun and fabulous group of talented women, look no further - your Wednesday evenings will never be the same!

The Meath Choir
The Meath Choir is the vocal group created at The Meath Epilepsy Charity. This joyously effervescent choir brings the people supported by The Meath Epilepsy Charity together each week to sing their favourite songs while signing in Makaton. The Choir have performed at Meath events, St Clement Danes Church in London and have even surprised local shoppers with a supermarket flash mob! These performers will have you on your feet but also will pull at your heartstrings. A choir not to be missed!

Cora
Much like their namesake, Cora, the Goddess of Spring, The Cora Quartet’s harmonies will lift your spirits and bring a little extra joy to your day. With soulful passion, their four warm voices blend flawlessly in reimagined versions of your favourite jazz standards, contemporary pieces and original arrangements. The full female line-up invites you to get your feet tapping and hands clapping to their melodious performances. This professional quartet will blend beautifully into your day.

Little Town Choir
Born out of friendship & a love of music, Little Town Choir has evolved from 12 to nearly 80 strong over the past 2 years. Lead by Hannah Holley (Musical Director) & Rebbie Wellwood-Green (Co-Founder), LTC brings banging songs, big community & even bigger heart - the best kind of alchemy. Striving to create an experience that feels as good as it sounds, LTC is a musical sanctuary for one & all… and all from the Little Town of Petersfield.

A Capella
A Cappella is a small choir from Edenbridge, formed at the new Millenium. We started out as a group of mums and teenagers and have gradually blossomed into a satisfying blend of harmony for upper voices, covering a wide range of genres from folk to contemporary. We enjoy singing at local community events and special occasions and have developed a reputation for specially themed and seasonal programmes. As our repertoire has grown, we have been privileged to perform at prestigious historical venues and this year were thrilled to be among the choirs entertaining Christmas visitors to the Tower of London.

Guildford Vox Community Choir
Guildford Vox is a popular community choir who meet on Monday evenings at St. Mary’s Church, Quarry Street, Guildford. Their repertoire consists of contemporary and traditional songs from the British Isles and around the world. They learn by call and response and sing rich, unaccompanied harmonies.

Sevenoaks Sings
Sevenoaks Sings is a proud and passionate, not-for-profit community choir that brings together people of all ages and backgrounds. Run by their members, they hold a really warm and friendly place that has true community spirit in its heart - and are as much about building beautiful friendships as beautiful harmonies. Musical Director Philly Lopez is the dynamic powerhouse who brings energy and vitality to the choir’s rehearsals and repertoire. Philly has a string of professional credits to her name, and has worked with some of the best in the business. Their repertoire includes contemporary pop and rock, folk, soul and Gospel.

Godalming Community Gospel Choir
GCGC is a community gospel choir based in Godalming. We sing a range of contemporary and traditional gospel from the UK and USA, and we love performing at concerts, charity events, prisons and weddings. We are a true community choir, open to all and our choir members come from all walks of life, faith and no faith. We welcome new members to come along to one of our Taster evenings at the beginning of each term. There’s no need to read music, just a desire to sing gospel.

In Accord
In Accord is a Guildford based ladies a cappella group. Its aim is to develop singing craft at both individual and group level. They have a high standard of singing, but also enjoy having fun when rehearsing and performing! They can adapt to perform at any venue or function, and tailor the programme to the needs of the audience. They often include a demonstration of how their harmonies are formed, and encourage everyone to sing along. Their Musical Director is Sue Lampard. Singology
Singology Choir is a vibrant community choir that brings people together through the joy of singing. Open to all, Singology offers a fun, inclusive environment to explore your voice and connect with others. Founded by renowned vocal coach and choir director Mark De-Lisser, known for his work with stars and on major TV productions, the choir thrives on his inspiring teaching style, empowering singers to perform with energy and emotion. Last year, Singology performed at the Royal Festival Hall, the AELTC, sang carols in Trafalgar Square, and brought joy to smaller events across London, sharing music within local communities.

Cor Seren
Cor Seren is a community choir started in 2016, currently has approx 45 members. We sing a wide range of songs from show tunes to country and are always looking to stretch ourselves and discover new sounds that make us happy. We are a choir created by and affiliated to the charity 2 Wish. Over the years 2 Wish has grown from a small local charity to one that is recognised nationwide, ensuring that all families are supported after the sudden loss of a child.(2Wish.org) Cor Seren raises much needed funds and awareness for 2 Wish, and provides a safe place of support and friendship to those affected by grief. As a group we are looking forward to traveling and being involved in the ChoirBlast weekend, meeting people who love being brought together with music and sharing the joy that can bring.

Wholenotes Community Choirs
Wholenotes Community Choirs are for those with social anxiety, a learning disability and/or autism. The choirs rehearse at Guildford United Reformed Church and Camberley Theatre. The choirs are for anyone aged 18+ who can attend with their carer or independently. Wholenotes is a not-for-profit organisation set up and run by Alison Wrigley to enable the members to make friends, develop interpersonal skills, feel a sense of achievement and to help raise self-esteem and confidence through the power of singing and music.

Archway Choir
Archway Choirs are three non-auditioned community choirs from East Sussex; operating since 2009 and comprising two CCs and one GC. We perform and collaborate together a few times a year. Our strength is our connection to each other. There are songs and arrangements in our repertoire that speak directly to the human experience. When we perform SATB arrangements with dramatic and emotional ranges that speak of love, loss and the battle of life, we are truly at our best. It allows us to join together in a poignant union celebrating the community we have all built and that we are so very proud of. Sing All Together Beckenham
‘Sing All Together Beckenham’ is an adult, community choir from Beckenham, Kent - birthplace of the legendary David Bowie! We were in established in 2002 as 'Fundamentally Gospel’ and evolved into SATB in 2021. We have 60 members who love singing a mixed repertoire of pop, soul, rock, gospel and musical theatre - anything goes our members choose the songs. We sing for fun, friendship and to fundraise, performing 4/5 times a year in aid of local charities. We are one BIG HAPPY choir family. We just love sharing the joy of singing and the sense of community our choir brings.

City Of Stars
City of Stars are Brighton & Hove’s only intermediate musical theatre choirs, covering exciting repertoire from both legitimate and contemporary musical theatre. Created by professional coaches & performers and accompanied by a West End Musical Director, City of Stars pride themselves on their exciting stage show, where all jazz hands are welcome and only the biggest hits will do! After all, there’s no business like show business….

Sing It Bold Community Gospel Choir
Sing It Bold Community Gospel Choir is more than a choir, but a family of people who love singing together, whenever! They began in Nottingham in May 2018, and in March 2023, expanded to Derby. They are proud to say they are a non-auction choir who welcomes everyone! And this hasn’t stopped us from gaining a reputation for rich harmonies, and being known for giving great performances. They believe in the power of singing, and the ability it has to convey a message that sometimes spoken word alone cannot. The bonus is getting to do this together!

Reggae Choir
Reggae Choir is an exciting amateur, non-audition, non-religious, contemporary ensemble, open to all who enjoy singing reggae music, regardless of skill or experience. Formed in 2012 Reggae Choir have performed at many indoor and outdoor events and festivals including the U. K’s largest reggae and dub festival ‘One Love’, Citadel Festival, The London International Ska Festival, Royal Festival Hall, Fairfield Concert Hall, a sell out show at world Famous Jazz Café in Camden Town, Hackney Empire, Hayling Island Reggae and Soul Weekender and The Royal Academy of Arts to name but a few. The choir runs three, ten-week terms across the academic year and sings many sub-genres of reggae music such as Ska, Two-Tone, Rocksteady, Lovers Rock, Roots, Classic Reggae and Pop Reggae. We even give a reggae twist to popular songs, just imagine Motown to a thumping baseline!

Pond Meadow School Choir
We are the Pond Meadow Choir where everyone is welcome and we strive to equip our students for life. Pond Meadow is an outstanding special needs school offering quality special education for 2 to 19 years old pupils based in Guildford. Our choir, established in 2023, is led by Phoebe Gaydon. We use a range of ways to communicate so expect some signing and dancing alongside our singing.

Godalming Junior School Choir
At Godalming Junior School our inclusive school choir is a key feature of the school's identity and contributes hugely to the children's SMSC development as part of the genuinely holistic educational offer in place here. Children from across the school, from all backgrounds, genders and abilities are welcome to meet weekly with our inspiring Music Lead, Miss Coleman to rehearse, learn and perform songs of all kinds and have a little boogie too. The children show great appetite and readily perform to their peers during school assemblies, at enrichment events and in the local community to showcase what they can do. Singing truly brings joy to all at GJS!

Bloom Choir
Bloom Choir are a collective of singers from East London and Essex. Formed in 2023, they rehearse once a week, singing everything from Pop, Soul, House and Musical Theatre. With Community at its core, Bloom Choir sing at charity events and most recently, became first place prize winners at the Stratford and East London music festival. Bloom Choir are inspired by uplifting music with positive lyrics and they aim to uplift audiences whenever they perform.

Singing Foxes
Singing Foxes are a ChoirBLAST community choir! Phoebe Gaydon goes into St Marks and All Saints school in Godalming, on a weekly basis, to provide the kids a free, fun and flexible choir session. With about 20 members word is spreading in school about how awesome the choir is so next year we will be even bigger!

Blend Choir
The first Blend Choir was set up in January 2013 to give local singers a place to go once a week to sing, socialise and have fun. There are now five Blend Choirs and over 170 members. The choirs have enjoyed performing at various events including The Olivier Awards, West End Live, Disneyland Paris, The Ideal Home Show, The London A Cappella Festival & many more. Each year, our choirs come together to perform summer & Christmas concerts for friends, family & followers of our groups. There is no pressure to sing solo lines or even perform. Some members prefer to come along each week and sing without taking part in the concerts and events. There are NO auditions, no sheet music and everyone is welcome. We cover a whole range of musical styles from Musical Theatre & Disney to Motown & Pop favourites (old & current).

Natural Voices Choir
Natural Voices Choirs' are funky, inclusive community choir, taking the stuffiness out of choirs! The Sound Collective
The Sound Collective is an Essex-based choir & vibrant community. Rehearsals are all about positive vibes that foster a sense of belonging that enriches lives. The choir is celebrated for its enchanting, themed concerts, and whether it's a holiday celebration or a tribute to a specific genre or era, the choir consistently delivers unforgettable, often immersive, shows that leave audiences wowed. Singers also get access to choir clubs (wild swimming, book club, afternoon tea soc, weekend breaks, walking club etc) so being part of this choir goes above and beyond amazing singing to also offer so much more!

Petersfield Community Choir
Petersfield Community Choir have been singing together for 17 years and is a fun, relaxed group who sing unaccompanied in beautiful 3- and 4-part harmonies. Open to everyone, there are no auditions, and no need to read music. We learn songs by ‘call and repeat,’ making it easy for all levels to join in. We are led by Ysanne Bonner, whose dynamic leadership & passion for music brings energy, fun and inspiration to every session. The choir focuses on enjoying the process of singing together while striving to create the best sound possible.

Harmonix
Our journey began in January 2021 during the COVID-19 lockdown as an online community initiative to bring joy to the people of Haslemere. For over six months, we held workshops online until we could finally meet and sing together in person, initially socially distanced until restrictions eased fully. By summer 2021, due to popular demand, Harmonix was officially born! Performing at amazing locations like Winchester Cathedral, our members have transformed from strangers to a harmonious choir in less than a year. At Harmonix, we pride ourselves on connecting people in Haslemere and surrounding areas through a shared love of music. We continue to expand, with the recent addition of our children's choirs in partnership with local schools in September 2021.

House Choir
House Choir are thrilled to bring their harmonious talents to ChoirBLAST! House Choir, open to ages 18+, offers an energetic and engaging environment where members tackle beautiful four-part arrangements across multiple genres. With scores for most songs, this friendly choir provides weekly vocal challenges that keep everyone on their toes and learning at a speedy pace. Both choirs embody the joy of singing and the warmth of community.

Instant Blend Quartet
Instant Blend is a Guildford/Godalming-based quartet established in 2023 by four friends from the Surrey Fringe Chorus. They enjoy performing a wide range of music arranged in the 'Barbershop' style for four-part harmony. Their lively performances and varied repertoire - with classic songs from the 1920s up to the year 2000 - have made them a popular act at local venues.

Winchester A Capella
Winchester A Cappella is a vibrant female A Cappella group based in Winchester. We sing in unaccompanied 4-part harmony, with a wide range of songs from films, musicals and popular music. We have around 40 members of varying ages and musical experience in our lively and dedicated chorus, and we regularly update our repertoire to keep it fresh. We are led by Oliver Squibb, our creative and enthusiastic musical director, and we perform at local events such as Romsey Beggars Fair and Winchester Christmas Market. Last year we put on a very successful charity concert, and we also performed at the Ventnor Fringe Festival.

Salisbury Plain Military Wives Choir
Inspired by the BBC’s “The Choir”, featuring Gareth Malone, Salisbury Plain Military Wives Choir formed in January 2012, as a local community project for women whose lives were impacted by military life. The choir currently has over 50 members who meet, sing and socialise each week, at Larkhill. Recent choir highlights include performing alongside the Coldstream Guards Band at Salisbury Cathedral, Remembrance with Woodfalls Band and involvement in the November Sunday project to mark the King’s birthday. We are delighted to be singing at Choir Blast for the first time, under the musical direction of Hannah Sandu.

Surrey Fringe Chorus
The Guildford Barbershop Harmony Club (AKA Surrey Fringe), is one of the first Barbershop Clubs to be formed in the UK, and has been running for nearly 40 years. The Surrey Fringe is a group of male four-part harmony singers. We teach people to sing, we perform at public and private functions, and participate in local music festivals. We have competed at the British Association of Barbershop Singers conventions. Support for local charities is another of our priorities. Each year the members nominate a charity or charities to receive surplus funds from our Concerts and ‘singouts’.

Young Voices
George Abbot School
Lower School Choir
Our 80-strong choir meets weekly (for just 15 minutes!) for rehearsals in breaktime at George Abbot School. We are one of six choirs in our school, and these are our youngest singers comprising Years 7-9 pupils. We perform in the school Christmas concert, Cathedral service, Spring Concert, and many of our singers will also be rehearsing this term for our whole-school musical. In March we will sing at Voice in a Million at Wembley Arena - we are a busy and enthusiastic choir!

PSG Choirs
Pop, Soul Gospel Choirs (PSG) are a community choir based in Wiltshire. Their focus is on fun and keeping their performances 100% live with no backing tracks. The choir have performed across the South West at prestigious venues such as Bath Abbey, Longleat House, Bowood House and Wiltshire Music Centre as well as countless other concerts across Wiltshire. With detailed 3-4 part harmony arrangements and live piano with every song, you can be sure of a non-stop high energy show. PSG's Leader Will Blake directs the choir from the piano and is occasionally joined by members of his professional session band to take the choir performance to the next level. PSG cannot wait to be a part of this year's CHOIRBLAST!

Surrey Arts Young Singers
Surrey Arts Young Singers welcomes singers from 8 to 13 years old. Previously Surrey Youth Training Choir until 2022, there are now 3 flourishing SAYS choirs across North, East and West Surrey. No experience is needed; just a love of singing and having fun. Covering a range of musical genres, students sing the music they love and broaden their musical experience, developing their voices and working as a team. Performances at high profile venues such as Princes Hall and Dorking Halls encourage the joy of performing. Members have progressed to joining Surrey Youth Choir and the auditioned National Youth Choir.

LCV Choir Jams
London Contemporary Voices (LCV) is a leading UK choir with a unique contemporary sound and is well-known as one of the most diverse professional choirs in the world. Our singers come from a wide range of backgrounds and lived experiences, reflecting the diversity of London. LCV Choir was founded for Imogen Heap's concert Love The Earth at the Royal Albert Hall in 2010. Since then, LCV has worked with 150+ artists including 30+ Grammy winners and nominees. LCV Choir Jams is the weekly choir element of LCV, and provides a gateway for excellent amateur singers to progress to singing alongside LCV's professional choirs, and also gives a flavour of the range of music covered by LCV as we have singers from a wide range of musical backgrounds.

Made In The Shade
Made In the Shade are an a capella female vocal group, based in Cuckfield, West Sussex. We have been singing together since 2020, performing at gigs and events all over the South of England. We sing a whole range of songs - pop, rock, folk, soul, and more. We love spending time together - working on song ideas and creating harmonies - and we love putting on a show!
Bordon Junior School
Our School choir is a busy, enthusiastic, fun group of children aged from 7-11. We meet once a week and enjoy singing together and in smaller groups. We regularly perform at local events and have been seen 3 times in the last five years at Young Voices at the O2 arena. We are a young but vibrant choir who love to get together and enjoy music. You will see a selection of different hits and musical theatre songs which will brighten up your day, we can’t wait to be a part of Choir Blast 2025!

As One Community Choir
As One Community Choir has been running for 12 yrs. We are led by Elaine and Kevin Simpson who between them have over 60 years of music experience! We sing a variety of songs, from modern to the more traditional, pop, gospel, soul and lots more and believe that everyone has a voice and should be heard. We love to get out in the local community, bringing joy to others through our singing and we support a local charity every year. Our mantra of “wrong & strong” cultivates a non-judgemental environment for members to feel safe and able to grow in confidence and ability.

MbM Contemporary Gospel Choirs
Learning uplifting songs with meaningful lyrics - including originals by inspiring award-winning Founder and Choir Leader, Emily Bollon, MbM host weekly choir rehearsals in Godalming, Guildford, Merrow, Woking and even virtually from the comfort of your own home! Free from auditions and sheet music, MbM delight in embracing those who feel they can't sing into this incredible community, and together enjoy the transformation that singing together brings. Soundbytes
Soundbytes is Ashtead's community choir, set up in 2009 by its founder and musical director, Hazel Hannam. It now boasts a membership of around 45 singers from Ashtead and beyond. At the end of each term the singers put on a FREE concert to not only showcase to friends and family what they've been working on during the term, but also raises money for local charities. So far this has totalled over £32,000. Their repertoire is drawn from mainly pop but will also include songs from the worlds of jazz and folk, in 3- and 4-part harmony. Singing; it’s a matter of Life and Breath!

ToC Voices
ToC Voices sing uplifting and meaningful pop songs with beautiful harmonies specially arranged by our very talented choir leader, Emily Bollon of Motivation by Music. Our members are cancer patients, carers, supporters and survivors with unique stories. Together, we are thriving and embracing the benefits that singing brings to both physical and mental health, and... we sound amazing!! ToC Voices is fully funded by Guildford-based immunotherapy charity, Topic of Cancer and love to welcome new members!

Earthly Voices
Earthly Voices is a community choir that meets on Thursday evenings in Cobham, Surrey. They sing mainly unaccompanied and have an eclectic repertoire including pop, folk, classical and world music. There are no auditions to join, just enthusiasm for singing and a willingness to try something new. Rehearsals are fun, occasionally uproarious, and led by the very talented Emily Leather. Earthly Voices describe themselves as a caring community where friendship and the joy of music binds them together. They are always up for a bit of fun, and are looking forward to sharing their music with you.

South of Broadway
South of Broadway, the jazz vocal harmony group from West London, was first formed in 2009 when a group of jazz singing friends noticed a distinct lack of multi-harmony vocal groups in the West London jazz scene. After plotting for a while and some impromptu performances, the group was born – taking their name from the rehearsal space they first used, south of Hammersmith Broadway. After a hiatus during the pandemic, they have reformed, and performed in a number of top venues in London, including selling out at The Pheasantry Pizza Express jazz club in Chelsea, performing to fund raise for the Ukraine, and more.

Village Voices
Village Voices an unauditioned community women’s choir that has grown from the initial 12 members, many of whom still sing with them, to a flourishing organisation of around 85 women. They have been together for 19 years and have sung in the Royal Albert Hall as well as prestigious venues in Paris, Prague, Belgium, Vienna, Italy and Bratislava. Their members come from villages and towns around Seer Green in Buckinghamshire, and they enjoy singing a wide range of repertoire from blues to Bach, and gospel to Gershwin. Over the years they have raised many thousands of pounds for local charities through their major end of season concert in the autumn.

St John's Community Choir
We are a non-profit community organisation set up to provide a place where people of all ages and abilities can join together to enjoy singing. We rehearse at St John’s Memorial hall in Woking, Surrey We sing music from around the world, English folk songs and contemporary arrangements of some old favourites. We formed in 2014 and currently have around 35 active members. We perform several times each year at charity events, local fetes, pubs, nursing homes, Christmas light events, joint concerts with other community choirs. A highlight for us was performing at the Community Choir Festival in Stratford upon Avon. The Choir is conducted by the amazing Laura Davies. Laura has a passion for music from around the world and strongly believes that everyone can sing and make music, and that music encourages confidence and communication. Laura has a sense of humour that is simply infectious, our rehearsals always contain a lot of laughter, as well as lots of singing!

Surrey Harmony
Surrey Harmony has been established for over 25 years and is a women’s chorus based in Coulsdon, Surrey. The chorus is part of the global barbershop organisation, Sweet Adelines International. Surrey Harmony is a group of friendly, fun-loving women who meet each week to enjoy the pleasure of singing four-part a cappella in the barbershop style. We sing for fun, to entertain and in competition.

Academix
Academix are a contemporary a cappella vocal band based in Woking. They sing close harmony pop and jazz classics from the 1930s to the present day. Anita, Cate and Cat form an engaging trio of female voices, backed by the beatboxing, body percussion and bass groove of Jonathan and Neil. Since 2014 they have performed at the Guildford Fringe, the Brandenburg Fringe in London, across the south east.


Cascade Chorus
Cascade Chorus was founded in 2002, with a group of around 30 local women. Our ages range from 22-75 with different backgrounds but we all have the same passion for singing. Singing brings us together, helping us to make new friends, learn new songs and have lots of fun along the way. We are Barbershop singers which means there is no backing music, we just use our voices. The chorus is split into four singing parts. Tenors sing the high harmony, Leads sing the main melody, Baritones weave around the main melody and the Basses sing the low harmony.

Landmark Show Choir
The Landmark Show Choir is in its 12th year and we are excited to perform for the first time at ChoirBLAST. More than just a choir, we are a real community, a place to make friends as well as sing together. Sessions are fun and inclusive, learning uplifting popular songs mainly from the classic 70s and 80s era with easy harmonies for all levels. We perform regularly, often helping raise funds for charity.

No Strings Attached
No Strings Attached are a five-piece a cappella group based in Cuckfield, West Sussex. They first took shape as a six-piece folk a cappella group in 2012 and performed together for the first time at Crawley Folk & Beer Festival that same summer. With just a couple of line-up changes since then, they have performed on over 150 occasions throughout Sussex and occasionally beyond. Nearly all of their arrangements - mainly of pop/contemporary classics but with a handful of folk and other genres - are developed by the group as a whole during rehearsal, or even after the rehearsal, in the pub! No-one conducts, anyone can take the lead and they all revel in the sheer enjoyment of singing in harmony.
