We are so grateful to the hundreds of volunteers who have helped us to make the magic happen since we began planning our first festival in 2022. ChoirBLAST continues to be volunteer-led.
There are many opportunities to get involved with ChoirBLAST, either supporting our Community Choirs programme, or for the Festival and events.

Current opportunities
Lead Volunteer Co-Ordinator
As Lead Volunteer Coordinator, you will hold the big picture: supporting and supervising the volunteer coordinators in our choirs, and the ChoirBLAST Festival and event leads who bring our celebrations to life. You won’t be in the thick of the festival rush – instead, you’ll be the calm presence behind it all, keeping the structure steady, the lines of communication open, and the volunteers themselves feeling valued and cared for.
Community Choir Volunteer
We are looking for enthusiastic, passionate people who love to sing, to help support the singers in the community choirs we run. It’s all about learning harmony parts, aiding the understanding of lyrics and emotions in a song, and supporting the choir leader to be able to deliver consistent sessions.
Festival Choir Committee
We are looking for enthusiastic, passionate people who love to sing. And are passionate about diversity and equality to join our ChoirBLAST Festival Choir Committee. We are looking for an 5-7 members of the public to join the panel of people who will be working through the copious amounts of applications from Choirs to be a part of the ChoirBLAST Festival.
