Join us on Saturday 14th December at the United Church, Godalming for an evening of festive harmony, community, and heart. ChoirBLAST’s Christmas concerts will celebrate not only the joy of singing but the impact that shared music has across our communities all year round.
The early show (5.30–6.30pm) shines a spotlight on our younger singers, featuring several of our ChoirBLAST choirs — The Singing Foxes and Pond Meadow School — alongside the brilliant ATOM Youth Choir. Together, they’ll offer a joyful glimpse of the confidence, friendship, and fun that singing together can inspire.
The evening concert (7–10pm) will showcase some of our finest local and festival performers — Godalming, Guildford and Farncombe Jazz Choirs, Off the Scale, Surrey Fringe, and the CORA Quartet, with more to be announced — all coming together in a celebration of voices and community spirit.
We’ll also celebrate the beginning of our new choir at the Samson Centre in Guildford, made possible by a generous corporate donor. For people living with multiple sclerosis, choral singing can be transformative — improving breathing, posture, and muscle tone; supporting mood and memory; and building vital social connection. It’s more than music — it’s belonging, hope, and healing through song. This is our 6th ChoirBLAST choir, with more in the application and planning stages. We believe in the importance of accessibility, opportunity and community through singing. At ChoirBLAST, our mission is simple: to bring the joy and wellbeing of choral singing to communities where there’s a need but not always the resources or infrastructure to make it happen.
With festive favourites and refreshments, and the warmth of shared song, this promises to be Christmas as it should be — joyful, generous, and sung straight from the heart.
